For Celeste’s birthday party Nonna makes some of her homemade world famous pizza.

Celeste being the little “know it all”, instructs Nonna on how to make her hands into fists so that she can kneed the dough.

Just a little more practice and Celeste will be tossing that pizza in no time.

It’s Celeste 3rd birthday and she’s requested a pool party. Here she is looking down excitedly at the Olympic sized pool. The kids wading pool is way over on the other side.

When Nonnna, Zio and Nonno visited us this past January, Celeste and I took them up to the Sun Peaks Ski Resort for lunch. During the drive up the mountain Nonno sat in the back seat and wouldn’t stop talking, and Nonna kept telling him to be quiet. Zio and I just rolled our eyes in the front seat, and Celeste just sat in her car seat oblivious to the drama.

Everyone was happy to get in doors for a warm lunch as it was pretty cold out. Apparently the seniors didn’t believe me when i told them to pack their parka’s. Hopefully when everyone comes back out this winter they’ll be better prepared

Celeste took a moment to “ham it up” for the camera again.

Celeste took Zio to one of her favourite hang outs here in Kamloops…the Chapter’s bookstore. Hey, it’s a small town and unless you like to ski there isn’t much to do out here in the winter.

They ended the afternoon by having a drink in the Starbucks. Celeste had a a chocolate milk, while Zio had a Caramal Machiatto.

I guess after a morning of terrorizing the house Celeste just needed to lay down for some quiet time. Those moments are few and far between these days.

The only way I could get Celeste to sit with Santa was by bribing her with chocolate ice cream. As you can see, it did the trick.

While we were waiting in line, our neighbours Dylan and Caleb walked by with their mom and dad. So we invited them over to have their picture taken as well.

Celeste and Zio Lorenzo bonded by sporting matching Maple Leafs jersey’s. If Daddy sees this, he is not going to be happy. (For those of you who don’t know, Francis is obsessed with the Canadiens).
